FWD ประกันชีวิต สนับสนุนโครงการด้านการศึกษาและทักษะชีวิตสำหรับเยาวชนมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อสร้างโอกาสสู่เส้นทางการทำงานและอนาคตที่มั่นคง หนึ่งในความร่วมมือสำคัญ คือ การสนับสนุนมูลนิธิพิมาลี ศูนย์ฝึกวิชาชีพด้านการโรงแรมและงานบริการ จังหวัดหนองคาย ซึ่งพัฒนาเยาวชนที่มีข้อจำกัดด้านการเข้าถึงการศึกษาให้มีทักษะวิชาชีพที่สามารถนำไปใช้ได้จริง ควบคู่กับการเสริมความรู้ด้านการเงินและการใช้ชีวิต โดยในโอกาสครบรอบ 10 ปีของมูลนิธิพิมาลี FWD ประกันชีวิต ได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีพร้อมเน้นย้ำความตั้งใจในการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาเยาวชนอย่างยั่งยืน

ท่ามกลางความพยายามในการยกระดับความเสมอภาคทางการศึกษาของสังคมไทย โดยข้อมูลจากสำนักงานกองทุนเพื่อความเสมอภาคทางการศึกษา (EEF)[1] ระบุว่า ปัจจุบันยังมีเด็กและเยาวชนไทยราว 800,000 คนที่สามารถได้รับการสนับสนุนทางการศึกษาเพิ่มเติม รวมถึงเยาวชนกลุ่ม NEET[2]  (Not in Education, Employment or Training) ประมาณ 1.4 ล้านคน หรือราว 15% ของประชากรอายุ 15–24 ปี ซึ่งล้วนเป็นพลังสำคัญของประเทศที่รอการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอย่างเต็มศักยภาพ ตัวเลขดังกล่าว ชี้ให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาทักษะที่เชื่อมโยงกับโอกาสในการทำงานจริง เพื่อช่วยให้เยาวชนสามารถต่อยอดศักยภาพของตนเองและสร้างความมั่นคงในระยะยาว

ด้วยแนวทางดังกล่าว FWD ประกันชีวิต จึงเดินหน้าการทำงานด้าน Community care อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งสนับสนุนการพัฒนาทักษะวิชาชีพและความรู้ทางการเงิน (Financial literacy) เพื่อช่วยให้เยาวชนที่มีข้อจำกัดด้านโอกาสสามารถนำความรู้ไปใช้สร้างรายได้และดูแลตนเองได้ในระยะยาว

นอกเหนือจากการสนับสนุนโอกาสทางการศึกษา FWD ประกันชีวิต ยังร่วมพัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็นต่อการทำงานจริงให้กับนักเรียนพิมาลีอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยอาสาสมัครของ FWD ประกันชีวิต ได้เข้าไปจัดกิจกรรมให้ความรู้ด้านการเงินและทักษะชีวิตที่จำเป็นต่อการทำงานจริง ซึ่งมักไม่ได้อยู่ในหลักสูตรโรงเรียนทั่วไป ผ่านการออกแบบกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ในรูปแบบ game-based learning และเวิร์กช็อปเชิงปฏิบัติการที่ออกแบบให้เข้าใจง่ายและนำไปใช้ได้จริง เนื้อหาการเรียนรู้ครอบคลุมการวางแผนรายรับ-รายจ่าย การออม การตั้งเป้าหมายทางการเงิน และการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่ชีวิตการทำงาน เพื่อช่วยให้นักเรียนสามารถบริหารรายได้ ดูแลตนเอง และวางแผนอนาคตได้อย่างมั่นใจเมื่อก้าวเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงาน

ในโอกาสครบรอบ 10 ปีของศูนย์ฝึกวิชาชีพการโรงแรมและงานบริการพิมาลี ได้มีการจัดงานฉลองครบรอบภายในศูนย์ฯโดยมีนักเรียนพิมาลีทั้งศิษย์เก่าและศิษย์ปัจจุบันได้ร่วมกันดูแลและจัดเตรียมงานในส่วนต่างๆ เพื่อร่วมต้อนรับแขกผู้มาร่วมงานอย่างเต็มที่ FWD ประกันชีวิต ได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสสำคัญดังกล่าว และยืนยันการสนับสนุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้เยาวชนที่มีข้อจำกัดด้านการเข้าถึงการศึกษา ได้เรียนรู้ผ่านการลงมือปฏิบัติจริงภายใต้แนวคิด “Learning by Doing”

ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ผู้สำเร็จการฝึกอบรมจากพิมาลีกว่า 80% ได้ทำงานในโรงแรมระดับ 5 ดาวทั่วประเทศไทย หลายคนสามารถมีรายได้ประจำเป็นครั้งแรกของชีวิต และเริ่มดูแลครอบครัวได้ตั้งแต่อาชีพแรก ความสำเร็จดังกล่าวแสดงให้เห็นถึงการพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของตลาดแรงงาน ช่วยสร้างโอกาสในการมีรายได้ที่มั่นคงให้กับเยาวชนและครอบครัวในระยะยาว

FWD reaffirms commitment to youth empowerment through education

Celebrate 10th Anniversary of Pimali Foundation

FWD Life Insurance Plc (FWD Insurance) has long supported educational initiatives and life-skills development for young people, helping them build a secure foundation for the workforce. A key part of this work is its partnership with the Pimali Foundation, a vocational training centre in Nong Khai focused on the hospitality and service industries. Through the foundation, young people with limited access to education gain practical, job-ready skills, alongside financial literacy and essential life skills. Marking the Pimali Foundation’s 10th anniversary, FWD extended its congratulations and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sustainable youth development.

Efforts to promote educational equality in Thai society are crucial, as data from the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) [1] reveals that around 800,000 Thai children and youth still require additional educational support. Additionally, about 1.4 million youth, or roughly 15% of the population aged 15–24, fall into the NEET[2] category (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). These young people represent an untapped resource for the country, with significant potential waiting to be developed. This underscores the importance of supporting educational opportunities and skill-building programs that can lead to real-world job prospects, helping youth unlock their potential and secure long-term stability.

In line with this vision, FWD continues its commitment to Community Care by focusing on vocational skills development and financial literacy, equipping young people with limited opportunities with the tools to become financially independent and self-reliant.

Beyond providing educational opportunities, FWD actively supports the development of practical skills for Pimali students. FWD volunteers regularly lead workshops on financial literacy and essential life skills that are not always covered in traditional school curricula. The workshops use game-based learning and hands-on activities to teach practical, real-life skills, including budgeting, saving, setting financial goals, and preparing for a successful career. These sessions are designed to help students manage their finances, take care of themselves, and confidently plan for their future as they enter the workforce.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pimali’s vocational training center, an event was held at the center, where both alumni and current students helped prepare and host the gathering for guests. FWD Insurance congratulated the foundation on this milestone and reaffirmed its ongoing support for providing youth with hands-on learning opportunities through the "Learning by Doing" approach.

Over the years, more than 80% of Pimali graduates have secured jobs at five-star hotels across Thailand. Many have earned their first stable income and are now able to support their families. This success highlights the positive impact of vocational training that meets labor market needs, providing youth and their families with long-term income stability.
